Overnight Oats


1 cup steel cut oats

4 cups of water

1 cup of almond milk

2 sliced apples OR peaches

2 whole cinnamon sticks

7 cardamom pods

Pinch of salt

10 golden raisins

Pinch of molasses (optional)


Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and cook on low setting for 6-8 hours. Add in extra almond milk til oatmeal is desired consistency. Serve hot and top with fresh berries and cinnamon powder if desired.

*This recipe should yield about 4 servings of oatmeal for the week.
